Mission

Cumberland Pride was started to promote love, acceptance, and diversity in Allegany County, Maryland. We will be celebrating our 8th Pride Festival June 29, 2025. We specifically support the LGBTQIA+ community through events and education within the community.  

Goals

Our main goal is to create a safe place for those seeking acceptance through our annual Festival. The annual festival moves to support, educate, and uplift members of the LGBTQIA+ community within Allegany County. This celebration is our grassroots doorway that has opened pathways to outreach and advocacy work in the community.
