Mission

Cumberland Pride was started to promote love, acceptance, and diversity in Allegany County, Maryland. We will be celebrating our 7th Pride Festival June 30, 2024. We specifically support the LGBTQIA+ community through events and education within the community.  

Goals

Our main goal is to create a safe place for those seeking acceptance. We target the LGBTQIA+ community but aim to create a space for all. We support, educate, and uplift members of the LGBTQIA+ community within Allegany County. The festival is our grassroots doorway that has opened pathways to outreach and advocacy work in the community.
